PLEASE NOTE:

Parents are responsible for packing a cold lunch to send with their child to school everyday. Lunches need to provide servings of fruit, vegetables, protein, and a grain.

School lunches are NOT provided.

Here at Prairie Rose we want your children to be well nourished and learn to be comfortable eating with friends. We find this works best with foods they are familiar with and bring from home.

They will have the opportunity to try new healthy foods during our snack time in the classroom.

 Prairie Rose Montessori school year runs:

 September 2, 2025 - May 22, 2026.

We will follow the Cedar Falls Public school Holiday schedule. We also follow their weather delay and cancellations.

Registration will begin each year in February for the following year.

After you reach out to us with your contact information and brief information about your child you will be invited to sign up for the Brightwheel App to be connected with our registration forms and documents. Once this is completed, you will be contacted to set up a time for a tour of Prairie Rose.

The Director can meet with you and your child in person so she can answer questions you might have and get to know your student. Once your child is accepted into the program and you pay the registration fee through Brightwheel, your student will be placed on a Prairie Rose Montessori class list. This guarantees your child a spot in our program.

Tuition is payable one month in advance (pay the End of August for September, end of September for October, etc...) and will be paid automatically through the Bright wheel App every month.

All registration forms, Dr physical, immunization records, and parent permission forms must be filled out and signed before we can allow your child to attend.  All forms and tuition must be turned in before the first day of school. These forms are located in Brightwheel.

The monthly tuition rate is our yearly tuition divided into nine (9) monthly payments.  Therefore, each month’s tuition will be the same, regardless of the number of school days in the month.  There will be no refunds for absence during the school year and/or weather related cancellations. 

You are not required to sign a yearly contract.  However, if for any reason other than medical reasons you wish to discontinue your child’s enrollment at Prairie Rose Montessori, we request a 30-day notice.  We will be unable to refund any tuition without the advance notice.

Any child of appropriate age can be admitted to our program or placed on a waiting list.  Prairie Rose Montessori does not discriminate and accepts all children regardless of race, color, creed, religion or national origin.  We will only dismiss a child after a confidential conference with parents.
