Mission Statement

Our mission is to teach and care for children in an environment of love, security, understanding and consistency. Where children can learn to think for themselves, how to solve problems in original creative ways and to succeed in a spirit of cooperation rather than competition. Where they can learn at their own pace, learn from their teachers, the prepared environment and from their classmates. The children will be taught to respect the rights of others and to appreciate the contributions of all life. We will teach each student at their own pace, the five areas of Montessori education: Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, and Science/Arts/Culture in a happy, joyous way!

We strive to educate both the families and the children in learning the “Montessori Method”.

What is "Montessori"?

Because of its unique learning style, with more than a century of education to back its use, the popularity of Montessori Preschool is growing among parents. By definition, the Montessori Philosophy teaches a progressive curriculum that uses child-directed learning, backed by observation and scientific research, as its core value. Instead of being traditionally taught, kids are encouraged to make their own choices in the classroom, with a teacher to guide them along the way. At the center of Montessori education is self-direction. Most Montessori education is hands-on and encourages plenty of play and collaborative activities with the other kids in the class. Mixed-age classrooms teach children how to work together and learn from each other as they master life skills.
